Genghis Khan and his general, Tsubodai (Subodai/Subutai) enjoyed decent success on the battlefield and Tsubodai's tactics were greatly effective in Europe (Hungary). Why was it that their tactics were not replicated to such success elsewhere?

There are multiple instances in the Old Testament viewing Leprosy as a punishment from God, or otherwise a sign of impurity/unholiness. With that, how was Baldwin IV, the King of Jerusalem, viewed by his contemporaries/subjects as a King of the Holy Land while being afflicted with Leprosy?

Why have there been so many Turkic states throughout history? It seems like everywhere along the silk road was ruled by a Turkic state at one point or another.
